Some allround advise and tips needed

Question from a fellow grower:

I can use all the help I can get!
I’m planning a residential enterprise of 12 plants with a caregiver to supply dispensaries with flower. We’re starting with seedling plants the first year.
I’m installing an 8x8’ greenhouse for the growing space. We have lots of critters, pests and snoopy thieves so want it in a locked space. It will have white diffused panels and 2 auto vents, an exhaust fan, and drip-line system.
What really concerns me is how I’m going to keep the greenhouse cool enough during summer months here in LA. It can get over 100* several days in the summer, and I’m not sure the vents and fan will do it. We have a portable a/c. Will we need to incorporate that to cool it down?
Also, I’ve read about all kinds of growing soils, fertilizers and boosters, but not sure which ones to use here.
I will also need to know pruning/pinching tips, and how to grow in bushes as well as the tall versions.
Also, a good source of sun-grown seed and seedling plants for future.
We’re setting up a drying room in a garden shed with a dehumidifier and rotation. Don’t know if we need to seal the shed from bugs in the set up or not.

The green house will be a challenge to keep cool is summer months since they are designed to hold the heat and humidity
I would install a roof that opens for venting of the heat most of the commmercial green houses I’ve worked in over the years have this ability
The portable Ac which is most likely around 12000 BTU would have a hell of a hard time cooling the space
You’ll need circulation fans as well and a way to control humidity if that’s a factor in your area

I wouldn’t use a greenhouse for that in LA, it’s a dead giveaway that you have SOME kind of special plants in it that will draw thieves over your fence in the blink of an eye!

It would be far better to use a GARAGE space with grow lights, that can be insulated and temperature controlled, as well as securely LOCKED DOWN so that nobody sees anything out of the ordinary.

I’ve also had terrific success with large grow tents, I have a four by eight foot from Vivosun that is fantastic for establishing the right temperatures and humidity. In my area high humidity is no problem at all, but the heat goes way off the scale in summer

In a garage or a room indoors you can set up several tents, and they take advantage of the home A/C system as well as the houses own insulation to maintain everything consistently and also absolutely invisibly. Having lived in San Diego for many years - I can predict that sooner or later you’re going to have a real bad Santa Anna condition in LA, if you were in Chico or Paradise it wouldn’t be such a big deal. And LA is NOT a City of “Angels”

Even though it’s legal there, indoor growing is a much better choice I think

At the very least consider a large metal utility shed with good insulation so that it doesn’t look like an obvious greenhouse
