Will a feminised plant go to seed if left?

Hi.
I went to germinate a couple of seeds and I dropped the last two on my carpet - yep a dark coloured one. I am fairly sure it is too late to use colloidal on the one I have in flower now (19 days) How can I make it produce seeds? If I just leave them will they eventually turn? Is she too far in flower to use colloidal??

No they dont just make seeds. For a female to make seeds you need a male to pollenate.

Yeah that is what I thought but I have been reading that a female can produce seeds in a last ditch attempt to make the next generation.

She’ll grow pollen sacs, then pollinate all around her

It’s normal for a female to produce a few seeds as it ripens, but it’s not so frequent that the seeds will be mature enough to grow a plant from them.

If your looking to make fem seeds this post has info about it using C/S. By @ob.
What's the truth about C/S?

Hi, yeah I know how to use C/S, I have done it before. The issue is I am wondering how late I can use CS? As the flower is now 20 days since flipped is it too late?

If not I can proceed to get some fem seeds, if not then “how” can I get seeds from this last plant – it’s my fav.

Sorry, but I don’t know

Unfortunately it is probably too late to reverse this plant to make seeds.
You could reverse it but the pistol would be to old by the time the pollen would be ready.
leaving the plant could force it in to rodelization (naturally making pollen sacs) but again the rest of the plant would be long past accepting pollen as @PharmerBob was saying she would pollinate around her.
If you wanted to sacrifice a couple of branches you could try reversing 1 branch with C/S or STS then take a lower less mature branch and do some high stress training on it like top it break a limb on it.
High stress training usually sets the plant (or limb) back as it needs recovery time.
I’m not saying this will work and I’ve never done this but I have seen stressed autos go as long as 4 months because conditions were not right.
All I can say is if you got bud to smoke and can spare a couple of branches and really want to preserve this one it’s worth a shot.
If it works then we may have made a new break through in growing!
As for seeds dropped on the carpet I’d say get a shop vac empty and cleaned out and vacuum that area then start sifting!
Good luck!

Hi,
Thanks for that, it was a great explanation as to why it would not work :+1:

I might just try some of that hst, can’t hurt!
