Looks like I’ve got one night of almost freezing with a frost warning but then temps back up in the 60’s and 70’s following. I’m in northeast Oklahoma with some photos that aren’t quite done in flower… apple fritter Girl Scout cookie extreme
-is this goin to damage them to the point it won’t be worth the harvest ?
-have been fighting bud rot, insects and possibly nutrient deficiencies but working on that and have the rest under control
Light frost doesn’t hurt. Like the 1st frost that just forms on a few roof tops, no problem. Even here in NB 1st frost doesn’t hurt anything. Yep kick up the inspections and maintenance.
Mine are in the woods. I wish closer so I xould shake the dew off em in the AM
I’m here in Northern Nevada and my daughter throws a bedsheet over the plant keeping the frost from settling on the leafs 
but like jay said the colder temperature can be tolerated to a point lol

It wont hurt. Usually a frost can bring out purple coloring and more trichomes. Believe it or not, having the soil wet during frost is a better defense then dry.

@Scott62 thank you.A light frost or has never hurt my plants.Sometimes we need that extra week or two to finish.I more times that not have to let them indur a frost or two. When I got those colors I was amazed.That smoke was amazing as well.
@Jaysittinback @Poseidon1 @Dennis62 got down to 32 a few of them (my best lol) had frost on them and some didn’t. Will the cold kill the caterpillars etc. Didn’t know if I should maintain that application or not
With so many sugar leaves (like in your last pic) where do you look to check your trichomes?
@Scott62 look at the bud as the sugar leafs will ripen before the buds. You may need to trim or push out of the way the sugar leafs to view the bud trichomes.

In the circle is where I look.Remember the upper cola will show more rippening than lower buds sites.
Some harvest the colas first then the lower buds as they will ripen a week or two later .I’ve done that but now I just take the whole plant.But I prefer 30% amber. Hope this helps.Just my .02cents.Others may offer their methods ,you do what works for you.
