Why have my plants stopped growing?

Ever since I went from flouresent to led my plants have stopped growing, why? Even with a dehumidifier still at 75, why? Just thinking of putting old light back. I hav posted pics but no response yet.

Please fill out a support ticket with this information. That way members will have a better idea of what may be happening.

Pics in natural light are also essential

Strain;

Soil or hydro?

System type?

PH of runoff or solution in reservoir?

Ppm?

What is strength of nutrient mix?

Indoor/outdoor

Light system, size?

Temps;

Humidity;

Ventilation system;

AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,

Co2;

Maybe because the light is now coming to the plant… instead of the light having to reach for the Fluorescents?

Give it 2 weeks it’s probably building roots and will have a big grow spurt. And base of stalk will put on size to

Keep in mind that there are two stages when the plant doesn’t really grow vertically:
When it is just a seedling and is establishing roots down below.
When it is at the end of the vegetative state/at the beginning of flowering.

In either case, it will start to skyrocket in just a matter of weeks.

I went and located your other topic. Please fill out support ticket posted above.

Also, I’d like to know model of led light you’re using and distance from tallest plant? Thanks!

White widow autos, hydro, 4x4x6, ph 5.78, nutes are General Hydroponic, mild veg 1-1-1 plus calmag, indoor, LED 2000w (1000W HPS/MH replacement so say Amazon), temp 79-84, 69RH, 188cfu carbon filter, dehumidifier. Day 23 This plant starts showing these gold spots day 11 added calmag and nothing. It started at next to bottom leaf and now another. I did have some bleaching but that went away turned green again. Added led on Monday 18 since then it seems like growth stopped, new growth are real skinny leaves. I have 5 plants and will list separately.

Plant 2 started to flower but stopped as soon as exposed to led. White widow autos, soil, 4x4x6, ph , nutes are General Hydroponic, mild veg 1-1-1 plus calmag, I have not increased nutes yet, indoor, LED 2000w (1000W HPS/MH replacement so say Amazon), temp 79-84, 69RH, 188cfu carbon filter, dehumidifier. Day 39 This plant starts showing these gold spotting added calmag and nothing. It continues to get more gold spotting It started at next to bottom leaf and now another. This plant got a little destroyed when my do had a feast day 25. Added led on Monday 18 since then it seems like growth stopped, new growth are real skinny leaves.

Baby plant White widow autos, soil ( the best soil added worm castings mixed with organic soil), 4x4x6, ph 6.23, nutes are General Hydroponic, 1/4-1/4-1/4 indoor, LED 2000w (1000W HPS/MH replacement so say Amazon), temp 79-84, 69RH, 188cfu carbon filter, dehumidifier. Day 18 This plant showing rust on bottom leaf that is almost all brittle. Added led on Monday 18 since then it seems like growth stopped.

Plant 4 This plant is huge so far and is only 3 days older than the baby plant above, by far the largest and in the same environment everything is the same as the other hydro ph at 5.7 why such a difference and not affected like the others??

Last plant Day 18 soil same conditions and also doing great but growth does not compare to the hydro plants. This one is starting to show a few spots and 2 leaf tips have started to change color.

Model of light is a Higrow 2000w double chips LED grow light full spectrum rom Amazon. I started light 18-24 above canopy and later moved further up to 3.5 feet, I thought I was burning them.

I have a 1500w blurple light, like that one ~280 wall draw with three fans, and its about 12" from my flowering plant tops. Overall your plants look ok, and like you said, last one looks near perfect. Nice work.

So, you have 2 plants in hydro and 3 plants in soil. What kind of soil is it; and, when you water the ones in soil, what pH do they get?

Do you have a ppm/TDS digital meter?

@esanch First and foremost, PH problems will result in many different forms of deficiencies. This unfortunately, I personally know! :rage: If the PH in your root zone is off, then your chances of deficiencies increase.
I notice the leaves on your first picture seem to have moisture on them? I would be cautious about getting water on the leaves. That can lead to burnt spots. The fifth picture looks like it’s just the three finger new growth. They’ll naturally die and fall off anyways. No worries there.
Hydro will grow quicker than soil. And ever plant is different. I have two sour diesels growing right now and one is bigger than the other… almost twice as big.

@dbrn32 is the light expert. He will definitely get you straight with that and anything else that may be wrong.

I agree with the others, you most likely just have a stunted auto there in soil and its pretty common for hydro plants to grow more rapidly than soil. I’m not familiar with gh 1-1-1 is that the npk of what you’re using or the ratio you are applying the 3 part from them? Also your ph, is that what you are feeding soil plant at or your runoff? Rusty spots sounds like calcium deficiency or lockout condition.

The ph numbers are off for sure in soil im targeting 6.5-6.8 depending on the week of the month i rotate through from 6.5 to 6.8 raising .every week with 2 6.8s every month

As mentioned by others water on leaves will quickly burn leaves if just left

The 2000w amazon led ill leave for dbrn32 hes the lighting master, and the reason im so happy with my 300w diy lights

Plants will automatically slow upward growth under higher quality lighting for a period of time due to the need for better roots to handle the better production during photosynthesis if after a few weeks you havent seen a definite improvement then id be concerned

Another thing to note it’s only been 5 days since you changed the light. The new brighter light could have stunted the growth for a min. They will get use to it and take off. I had the blurple lights as well and did that a little.

Yup. We also may have went from too close to having it too far. Trying to get all of the info, but I’d probably be trying to run light at about 24" and watching plant for feedback from there.

The ppm hydro are 770 and 838. How can I fix this? I am using water starting at 30.

1-1-1 is the ratio applying the 3 part nutes. For soil 6.17 feeding plant. After doing better at controlling humidity to 59 today that went back up to 81. Today ALL the plants leaves drooped even the big healthy one. I am so frustrated, never had these issues before but this is the first time growing in a grow tent.
