Why doesn't anyone use miracle grow?

I’m sorry, but i think it is real funny that monsanto is doing this. fact is, it is probably going to work for them because of the masses. i learned a long time ago that the masses are asses lol.

Nothing funny about that, really.

i’m sorry hun, was being facetious!

I wasn’t being mean, myself. :grinning:

I use it with other organic materials like cow poop and mushroom compost. I throw in a little extra peat and some regular garden soil. About half the bucket is potting soil aka MG. I mix it thoroughly. Remember the water has minerals in it as well and should be tested and indoor grows are much different. I just use filtered water. I have three different strains and two different formulas for soils. Make sure pH is good and that it has the proper nutrients. Nitrogen for veg, you can use food additive for this in water but I read to dilute it to one half the recommendation on the directions once a week. Doesn’t seem like much but what a difference. Dilution helps ensure you won’t burn your plants sensitive roots. Always feed the soil directly. I made the mistake of posting a photo with water on my leaves. Hope this helps.

Ever tried high pressure aeroponics? @Covertgrower

I have the tote in my tent, I’m just waiting for after vacation to fire it up. Can’t start certain experiments when you have someone else caring for plants. @Saltydog

Hey, I am just finishing up a grow of 5 autos in my tent. I used MG but I mixed the blue moisture control bag 50/50 with the yellow extended feed bag. I gave the nothing but ph 6.5 water except for one feeding of fox Farms big bloom. Two plants had some burnt tips on some leaves, I’m happy with how they turned out. I have two hanging to dry right now, and three more that should be done within the next week or so. This is only my second grow so I don’t have much to go on but this seemed to work.

Late to the party but thanks for the link…
I expect no less from those bastards.
I’ll keep using things to grow not from them!

Hello fellow STONERS! I’m new here, new to indoor coco growing but had an excellent harvest from my outdoor greenhouse. I grew Afghani and AK-47. I used the regular old MG once a week and then used FF big bloom during flower. Here’s a pic or two of the results.

Now that’s a pretty picture!!!

Everyone has their own methods and learn as they go as to what does or doesn’t work for them. I grew with MG last year and did okay but not great. Now that I have learned a little more about using time released fertilizers I’m not a big fan. Yes, they can work but they are made from chemicals which are expensive, bad for the environment, hard to control, and don’t taste good. I switched to living soil all organic. A little bit of a learning curve but It’s simpler, safer, much cheaper and your smoke will taste better. If you’re interested check out (professor) Warkat latest grow journal. He’s a wealth of knowledge and his grows are killing it.

What works for one doesn’t always work for the other :v:

Isn’t that the truth!

@Dr.ofSmokology the MG KING uses it and with great success. He can give you some pointers.
