Just wondering why would you say my clone is looking like this? It has little Roots starting throughout it. I have seen some new growth but it’s just looking terrible and I’m just wondering what it might be. Maybe I should transplant into a bigger pot of fresh ffof?
Looks like it did not make it and is dying. What was the process when cloning? Clones are the same as seeds. Got to keep the RH at 80% while she is making new roots. Clones too get the moisture they need from the leaves while developing that new root system.
This is how my clones look in the beginning.
I leave one node, everything below comes off, I cut the stem on a 45º and use rooting powder. The fans can be cut back to alleviate weight and let her do her thing.
@Bonjoyle it has roots, and looks like new growth
Let her go til she lives or dies for sure. What we see above ground is a mirror of what is going on below. With the whole plant being so yellow and browning has begun, looks like a losing battle but if she has roots, by all means leave her be and see what she does.
Does a clone need misting? A plain water fouler mist? I had a couple success’ with cloning and many failures. I always figured if I mist she’ll think it’s raining an help in roots to spread n seek water. I forget where I heard that, but is this a fallacy?
IMO misting is only if needed for pests. I am talking about spraying the plant and leaves not just misting the inside of a dome.
Let it ride it might recover they can get pretty rough looking some times these all survived and thrived
3 of them are now in flower and the 4th I’m experimentng with
@Smokesdaily those look nice. Yeah I figured it will shake back just wondering what I could do to help it. I took the babies out of my big room and put them back in my small closet with the humidifier that way I could keep the humidity around 70% and I put a heat mat under everything so just try to give them a better childlike environment
