I have a whirled Phyllotaxy on a predominantly sativa strain of Purple Haze. It has had 3 sets of branches at each node since sprout and is about to pop its 7th node. My question is I usually top or fim my sativas to promote material growth and multiple colas but I’m not sure what to do with this one. Does anyone have any experience in this and would fimming or topping create problems or result in more than usual amounts of colas? Any help of whether I should leave it alone or treat the same as normal plant would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!
I’ve topped my polyploids without issue. You have to keep up with trimming. They tend to put out a lot of foliage from strange places.
