White worms ? Ate sprout root

Came home tonight to hot house (on day13 of no AC moved my tiny aero garden into bedroom w me where air & humidity is less &temp around 76degrees w portable AC), ant invasion & tiny white worms I think ate one of my sprouts. I didn’t take a picture because I was so mad I smashed them all (@ least 6) but they were about 1cm long & my tiny root was gone from the seed pod, what were they & how did they get there? The seed was still under humidity/sprout dome tightly sealed. Any clue?

Whitout pictures wee can say what is your problem.

Ugh, so frustrasting. Seems like everything hit me at once! The day after I decide to start to sprout my seed, the AC went in both my car & house. Then the ants, oh I hate ants! They’re coming in from everywhere & I haven’t had any all year! Sorry for the rant. But I think I know what may have happened. I just used a used pot to put the pellet in because it was tiny & handy & the cover was “supposed” to be just a clear run off cup which sealed it perfectly. Both of these items were in the kitchen where I had just battled fruit flies prior to my sprout. I didn’t wash or otherwise sanitize the pot or the cover. My bad! Dang it! I’ll be more careful from now on.

You can buy at plant store, farm and ranch or online. I got a 10 lb bag for $8 where I get my dog food. There’s lots of uses for it. We got a bug & put in saucer and put de on it. It started shaking freaking out. It tears their exoskeleton like a human crawling thru shards of glass. Can give it to dogs in food for worms. Warning, it’s messy but I put on all my girls on top of soul after watering and if leaf problem you gotta dust whole plant. Dusting entire plant should only be done during veg
