White haze on unfinished White Widow buds

My little potted White Widows are ahead of my giant in-the-ground pair but still not finished. These have a bit of a white haze showing on their buds, is this characteristic of the strain or an indication of a problem?

I’m failing to see any issues. I think it looks good.

I believe that you are talking about the tricome development, or crystals. Perfectly normal, lol  starting to get frosty, good work my friend

Thanks to you both! I’ve never grown weed before, but I’m a long-time organic veg grower. Just need to know what’s okay and what isn’t. So I guess my ten-foot trees will start looking similar in a week or two. Super!

Yes they will, sounds like you will have your hands full, good luck, those look like they are around 2 weeks into flower, most strains run 7 to 10 weeks in flower, got a while. While they are putting out lots of white pistols they are in building mode, when close to all turn orange you are close. Happy growing my friend. @Gaia69

Since you mentioned never growing before, here is a good read on the “What”. Trichs are where the good stuff is.

Hope this helps in all future endeavors.
