Which size would be better 4 or 6 inch new set up

OK here is the deal. I have a 4 dia mount on my carbon filter. I have both 4 & 6 inch ducting, and 4 & 6 inch dia inline fans. Would I be better off using the 6 inch duct to exhaust thru the carbon filt using an adapter. Or using the 6 inch for the make up air. The grow tent 5’X5’X7.5’

I’d be using a 6" fan whenever possible. They pull FAR more than any 4 inch.

I would run 6 inch for your main exhaust through the filter. You may even be able to turn it down which makes it WAY quieter.

What is rating on the filter? The 6" fan is probably lot better fan, but not sure how much the 4" would restrict it.
