Exhaust fan and carbon filter wrong size?

I got a 4x4x6+foot grow tent …ordered what I thought was a 6 inch exhaust and carbon filter kit…it was a 4" instead…:disappointed:…haven’t received it yet…mistake was figured out before hand…when I get it should I send it back…or will it be enough for my girls…tent has adjustable openings and the girls are still young enough to wait…so…?

IMO, you will need a 6" at least. Return It. Reorder :slight_smile:

I had a 4 inch and then bought a 6 inch. Save yourself the headache of purchasing things twice like I did and get the 6inch. I pretty much bought my whole setup twice lol :man_shrugging:t2:

So I went back online to see about returning…and I’m all of a sudden noticing these reviews…bad rattling and knocking noise coming from the fan after only a couple weeks…wtf…so maybe I’m dodging a bullet here…it was a vivosun kit I purchased but 4 or 6 inches isn’t gonna matter if I can’t take the noise…so…for the peons in the back that obviously don’t know what they are doing…what’s a good …and don’t break the bank set up u can suggest??? Please and thank you, peon

Check out ac infinity s6. It’s great. I have the t6 with a digital controller but the s6 is a little cheaper. I had the vivosun and it was loud as hell like a motorboat in my ear next to my bed

I got a Vivosun but it’s 440 cfm industrial one made of steel not the plastic one. I got the plastic one too it’s like the 390 cfm both are pretty quiet. Haven’t had any issues except the 440 is too strong had to cut it back some. Both are 6 inch.

I only buy ac infinity fans these days, cost more but the quiet is so worth it, when I have 3 grow tents in my bedroom.

Looked up the t6 online when canna newbie suggested it earlier…due to all the reviews on the one I stupidly purchased without thinking to ask the forum…im 99% sure the t6 is the way I’m going…a little more money but I’m doing this for the long haul so its worth it
