2 infline fans for 4x4

Greetings., I have a 4x4 tent with a 6 inch inline fan and 6 inch carbon filter. Anyone have a tent with two fans and filters? I’m thinking of adding a 8 inch inline and filter. So I will have two. My tent stays open , so I need more filtration for whole room!

I was going to say, the 8 inch fan could make your tent go airborne! I have a 6 inch on my 3x3, and the sucker blows the tent up like crazy even with it on its lowest setting - 50%. Even with the 6 inch exhaust running!

But open tent, should be ok.

If you’re just doing this to control odors in the room, I’d say get a HEPA stand alone filter. I got one at the start of the pandemic, and it’s excellent for removing smells from the air. I had a very sick dog at the end of last year, and it made it possible to breathe around her! (Sick dog gas is extra toxic!)

Hey @Kozmoz. I’m with @Fiz on the additional fan. If you are keeping your tent open it would be hard to control oder in the room. Do you have a window you could pull and exhaust at? I exhaust and pull from a window unless it is below 50F then I strap on my carbon filter to the exhaust ducting and send it halfway down the stairs. Can’t smell a thing during flower unless I open the tent to maintain plants.
Definitely get a HEPA filter to help the situation when your flap is open.

Right now I always have it open because I’m keeping everything low! Temp and humidity go up when I close it!
