Currently at 8 weeks. How do you know when it’s time to switch to 12/12 light schedule?

Cannabis is mature and capable of flowering in 5 to 6 weeks from seed. Most people think about how much space they have to decide when to flip the plant.
If you have plenty of space, then let them grow out before flowering. If space is tight, then flip them quickly. Keep in mind that cannabis often doubles in size after you flip.

It’s a preference thing depending on the size plant you want to end up with. An average plant will double in size after you switch them over to flower. Of course a heavy sativa strain will get more than double and a heavy indica might only stretch half of it’s size

I don’t flip at all. I grow only 12/12start to finish. I used this same time on my old Viparspectra lights.
If I was to flip…Indicas I would want the plant to be 2 to 3 feet. As they don’t get as tall as Sativas. For Sativas…probably in the same range of 2 to 3 feet as well.
Which all this is subjective to how much space you have.

Are they autos or photos if photos you let them veg for six months if you want to or u can flip them now but if there autos no need to change your light cycle as autos flower when they want to
