Growing blue dream using scrog. When should I flip to flowering? When the scrog is 70% full or 100% full . I know it’s needless to say but this is my first time using scrog.

You can expect the post-flip “stretch” to add an additional 30% to 150% of growth. I would time my flip with this in mind. I’ve had plants grow just a little bit after the flip and I’ve had other plants double in size after the flip. Please keep this in mind when making your decision.

I typically flip at around 50-60% full then let the stretch fill it in the rest of the way.

I normally try to fill all cells with a branch before flipping. Then manage through the stretch by tucking and moving.
I like a full canopy.

From my experience growing Blue Dream she puts on quite the stretch during the transition. I just ordered more Blue Dream too! Lol

Should I flip now or wait a couple of more weeks? I’m wondering how much these blue dream plants will stretch after flipping.

I haven’t grown a blue dream but from the grows on here that I’ve seen is BD stretches a lot after flip. You’re about where I flip when I run a scrog. I let the stretch fill out the rest of the canopy

My preference is to really smash the plant down and direct the four tops I hopefully successfully FIM’ed (haha). If you did that you could spread the plant out more; exposing nodes on upright branches that are (now) horizontal. Allowing the plant to develop those for a week or two I believe is beneficial to the overall yield. It will fill in and you’ll have better through-canopy penetration of both light and air.
Like myfriends said you could train them more but Its looking pretty full. Its really up to you.
