With the happy frog you should still be good without adding nutes for at least another week, maybe 2. Your plants have good color. Be careful not to water too often, cannabis likes a wet/dry cycle
@CheetoBean I used Fox Farm nutrients for the first 8 months or so and then switched to Jack’s 321 for 6 months. Everybody swears by Jacks on ilgm so I thought I’d give it a try. but after using it for a while I went back to Fox Farm trio. Huge difference. My plants looks so much better and so much frostier with Fox Farm trio. That could just be me everybody’s different everybody’s grow is different. But with Fox Farm Trio it will build up with salts in your soil. When I water I water to about 10% runoff that way it takes the salts out of the bottom with it. I rarely have to do a flush. Just my two cents. Good luck happy growing and have fun
Interesting, I started with the fox farm liquid trio and hated it, then switched to jacks…in all fairness to fox farm nutes I had pretty much no idea what I was doing at that point…
LOL. @Pinboy a lot of people don’t like Fox Farm trio. You can burn your plants if you go too heavy and you can get salt build up in your soil. That’s why I do the 10% runoff every water . I only switched over to Jack’s because I run a continuous grow and chop something down every 2 to 3 weeks and I was looking for something easier and faster to mix. People said Jacks is where it’s at. With Jacks you can mix up the A&B and epsom salts and feed it to your flowering plants and your veg plants. It’s all in one. But you still have to mix it in order and make sure everything is dissolved before you put in the next part. Or you can run into problems. So you’re still mixing and you’re still taking time and you’re still dissolving. I ran into nitrogen problems with jacks and had to adjust and just didn’t feel like it worked as well as the trio. So I went back to Fox farm. I just went back to mixing two buckets instead of one. One for my plants in veg and then a batch for my plants in flower. Still about the same amount of time mixing. And with the trio I just fill up my bucket of water make a whirlpool and dump each one of the trio in and it mixes right up.ph and go. What helped me decide about the trio over Jack is I run the same four plants plus 1 or 2 new strains. Running the same four strains in the same tent in the same soil doing the same thing I’ve been doing I’m able to tell a big difference between the trio and Jack’s. I was just having a conversation with somebody not too long ago about Jack’s and the trio. Sent them a ton of pictures of the same strains side by side comparisons one used with Jack’s and the other with theTrio. Night and day difference. Again this is my setup and the way I do it everybody’s different. What works for one person might not work for the next. I have seen some great looking buds on this site from people who use Jacks. In the end if you’re having fun doing what you’re doing then that’s all that matters. I’m stoned and rambling:-) happy growing
@CheetoBean do you mean the yellow leaf looking things at the bottom? If so they’re called cotyledons. They’re basically part of the seed. It’s normal for them to turn yellow and fall off.
Yes, thank you wasn’t sure what exactly they were
