Hello. Is there a typical time after flipping to flower for when pistils begin to appear? I read they first start emerging after about 7 days and basically the plant looks exactly the same as when in veg until about day 7 and then has pistils emerging as the first and only initial change. Is this true? Does trichome production increase in the first 7 days after flipping to 12/12?

Correct.
Trichome production continues throughout flower.

Feminized plants will show pistils at the nodes when usually mature. Don’t have to necessarily be in 12/12. Usually about 2 weeks or so after flipping, pistils start to form at the bud sites. Trichomes begin to really form a few days after the plant has finished transitioning and is in full flower.

I think you are referring to bud pistols? They will form from 5-14 days after flip. Usually around a week average.

I veg long enough that she always has pistils prior to the flip.
I usually see trichs popping out during or right after the stretch.
