So after some conversations and back and forth, I decided to flip my light schedule to 12/12 this past Monday, the 9th. First 12 hours of dark was Monday evening, starting at 6 pm and ending at 6 am.
This morning I was checking my plants, tucking leaves, etc. and noticed this:
Based on all of my research these should not be there until 7-14 days after the flip - but I get that there are no hard and fast rules and that all plants can move at their own schedule…
So looking at my other three, they all have the beginnings of these, as well.
BTW, these are Godfather OG feminized. About five weeks into veg when I flipped.
A female plant will start producing pre-flowering pistils when the plant is sexually mature at 30 - 40 days old for most of my photo period plants. I will continue to produce the pre-flower pistils until you flip to flower. A week and a half to two weeks later you should see denser pistil production at the tops and then lower on the plant as it gets deeper into flower.
LOL I have only been growing for about five years so not so experienced. Learned everything that I think that I know from the generous folks on this forum.
