Whats wrong with my clone

This is a clipping from one of my plants. It is in used happy frog soil. The first two weeks had water only. Last two feedings are with advance nutrients grow part A and B and cal/mag because the soil hold no nutrients from previous grow because of two week flush with water only in the soil for last to weeks before harvesting the plant that caused (used soil). Nutes on clone have been full strenght 16ml part A andB, 8ml cal/mag for two feedings.

Might be time to get them out of the plastic cups. Your root may need some O2. Are your using beneficial microbes and root starter?

Root starter yes. Only been in pots for 2 weeks

These are not cups they are 1/2 gallon pots.

These are 25 gallon pots and doing very well. Budding plant have 5 weeks to go and the larger one just started recognizable hedgehogs with 8 weeks to go.

This could be a sign of stress or nutrient deficiency. Here are some possible causes and solutions for this problem:

  • pH imbalance: The pH of your grow medium should be between 5.5 and 6.5 for optimal nutrient absorption. If the pH is too high or too low, your plants may not be able to access the nutrients they need and show signs of yellowing. You can measure the pH of your grow medium with a pH meter or pH strips and adjust it accordingly with pH up or down products.
  • Overwatering or underwatering: Cannabis clones need a moist but not soggy environment to root and grow. Overwatering can cause root rot and fungal infections, while underwatering can cause dehydration and wilting. You should water your clones only when the top inch of the medium feels dry to the touch and avoid letting them sit in stagnant water.
  • Insufficient light: Cannabis clones need at least 18 hours of light per day to grow and thrive. If they are not getting enough light, they may become weak and pale. You should provide your clones with a bright but cool light source, such as fluorescent tubes or LED lights, and keep them at a safe distance from the bulbs to prevent heat stress.
  • Nutrient deficiency: Cannabis clones may need some extra nutrients to support their growth and development, especially if they are growing in a soilless medium. The most common nutrient deficiency that causes yellow leaves is nitrogen, which is essential for chlorophyll production and plant health. You can supplement your clones with a mild fertilizer that is high in nitrogen, such as fish emulsion or seaweed extract, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for dosage and frequency.

Adding beneficial microbes to your grow medium may help improve the health and vitality of your cannabis clones, as they can enhance the soil quality, increase nutrient availability, and protect against pathogens. However, you should not rely on them alone to fix the yellowing problem, as they may not address the underlying cause. You should also check and correct the other factors mentioned above to ensure your clones have the best possible conditions to grow and flourish. .

Being that you reused soil and didnt recharge, there is no ph buffer. Im guessing ph issues. I would suggest a ph and tds check at runoff, also a soil slurry to get more accurate numbers.

Don’t know your lighting conditions, but too much light and too little roots will cause the plant to cannibalize itself and suck all the green out of its leaves. It has to grow roots before it will start growing new foliage. Too much light will force it to try to grow foliage, and consume itself trying.

In addition to not feeding or watering often enough.
Clones are adult plants as soon as they sprout roots, and need an adult feeding schedule for nutrients. The plant is deficient and hungry.

The plant should be transplanted as soon as the leaves reach the edge of the container. @Firstauto

New foliage has been achieved since cutting. After all the input im going to treat with full nutes as advance nutrients is a ph perfect system and soil ph test is at 6.0 6.1 . I believe lighting has been fine since foliage is growing. Im thinking since the roots are taking and it was explained this is an adult plant in deficient soil she may need all the nutes she can get. Thanks everyone, much food for thought!!!
