Clones have been going for about 2.5 weeks now. Leaves have started to turn yellow. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Also, I planted them in soil at week 2. Should I start adding a small amount of nutes??
Were there roots when you planted them? Any sign of new growth on the top yet?
Are you using a humidity dome? How close is the light? How powerful is the light? My clones usually take root at 7-10 days.
There were roots showing and I was using a humidity dome. Had a t-5 basically on top of the dome. Now I’m using a blurple pretty high up.
There are some sprouts at the joints.
I’d say nutes then. Once they have established roots, they need the same nutes as the mother.
I’ll feed them today then and see what happens. What’s the worst, free plants die?
I have 20 of them going
You good then! Lol. Give some nutes and watch em take off!
Definitely looks like nitrogen deficiency to me. They need food.
Roger that. I have some Big Grow laying around that I’ll give them.
I’d use 3/4 strength, just to be safe. If they perk up, give full strength next feeding.
I’ve had some clones look terrible right before perking up. As long as you’ve got new growth that looks green I’d say you’re on the right path.
What soil? Obviously ffof has no need for nutes.
FFOF on bottom with cutting soil around the rock wool plug
Maybe a tiny amount of nutes. Once the roots hit the ffof added nutes are going to freak them out.
@Drinkslinger is correct. Sorry, didnt know you had ffof soil in the bottom. I’d give maybe 1/2 strength till those roots reach the ffof. Good catch @Drinkslinger!
I’m always stingy with the nutes. No worries.
Fed the NOTG recommendation for clones and will see how it works.
Feed the clones and they seemed to perk up a lot.
