Im 7 weeks into flowering and the leaves are really dying off bad idk why my ph is on point my ppms are kind of low ive run them around 6-700 ish could that be it. This has been goong on for about week and half to two weeks. Do i have to cut it now or can is it ok for the buds to let the leaves die almost all the way off before i chop so i can get another week or two is what i was hoping. They half mostly nut not all cloudy trichomes please let me kmow my other plantw seem to have some leaves dying but so far it looks to be a normal rate but im not sure lmk of oit ok to keep her growin till all the leaves are done for . My lights are so close but not hot and im only gettin about 600-700ppfd and 40-50 dli. They seem to gave dying from the top down. Can this happen from touching and squeezing them (gently) i do thay becaus im wondering why my buds arent densing up on the two plants plaease let me know what u think and what to do
That’s because you’re done dude even your foxtails have finished, nature designed them to eat and kill themselves near the end so that they’d fertilize the ground for their children

That genetics (the weird growth or what they say foxtails) I do see new foxtailing but that doesn’t mean done, most times it means you didn’t dial your lights back at the end.

It’s called “senescence”. Her “fall colors”.
She’s reaching the end of her life. It’s nothing to worry about (I don’t see any obvious nutrient deficiencies), some say the process reduces the “chlorophyll” taste, leading to a faster/better cure. Your leaves shouldn’t die just yet.
In terms of bud size/density, you should end up with a nice amount of smokable bud, it’s going to be a pain to trim. But you’ll get a better idea about the type of stuff you might have wanted to prune away.
Sounds like you might have been under powered with the light as well. The light drives everything, it’s the gas pedal.
Thank you all for The info. It’s been clockstailing for about a month already. It is genetic because their purple haze and Alaskan purple. Period from what I’ve read that’s normal it’s normal. Like I said there’s still is still very few glassy tricomes but lots more cloudy I’m trying to get a little more Amber. So that being said this is normal and I’m still good to go for another week or 2 to try to fat them up correct? Without hurting them at all with the leaves dying like that
Yes, you’re good to go finishing them out. I would dial the lighting back some to help with the foxtails.
Clip the dying leaves where they are crispy. It’ll help with flow and give you a start on your trim.
Late flower foxtails are a sign of a plant going downhill. High intensity lights can promote this but is common in cannabis.

Your definitely cloudy with some amber. Could go any day now. I like a couch lock so I would drag it for more amber. It’s all preference on how you like your high. You wouldn’t be too early though.

@BigItch ok you confirmed what i thought. I was told of u hold out for more amber they will fatten up more too so like i said im going for bigger yoeld … ill cit them in a week or so thanks

Sucks because the 2 bigger ones are quite fluffy cause they didnt get the light they needed but the othrr two are nice and dense
