The school of thought is morning that way they aren’t going to lights off with really wet soil. Gives it time to dry out some! @Wolfmankush

Watering before dark even outdoor flowers etc can promote mold and mildew issues and all kinds of rot. An occasional watering later in the day won’t hurt anything.

Should I feed my plant before watering and lights

I feed my plants when there’s at least 6 hours of light left.
