I don’t think it matters. That said, plant uptake is maximized when lights are on.

When it is time to water for my girls, I water at lights on. Never thought about whether there is a best time to water. Falling down the rabbit hole now.

Give the plants time to drink it up during the day when they transpire. Transpiration only really happens when the plant is photosynthesizing. They can only pull in nutrients that are available and dissolved in water.
At night stomata are closed for the most part so this does not happen. But if the soil is saturated and there is no transpiration it can cause guttation because of high root pressure it forces water into the plant. It’s the plants pressure relief system. This is not always bad but can lead to things like bacteria and fungal infections because the forced out sap sits on the serrations creating a perfect climate for them.
So my timing is about an hour after lights on is on point.

Maybe I should cange my light schedule. Right now they don’t come on till an hour after I leave for work. I feed in the morning when I get home. That can mean the lights are only on 2 hrs max. If I get home late they might only be on 5 or 10 minutes.
So far I don’t think it has caused any problems. IE: I have not had any disease can’t comment on stress maybe. Definitely food for thought. Change light schedule set alarm to remember. Go down in morning check condition of plants determine if need water or feed that lights on
Mix nutrients for when I wake up.
Hate change this might be worth it though.

You only get what you give can’t expect 100% from your ladies if give 80% I’ve also had to shift my schedule around a bit but as long as that harvest is good then it’ll be worth it
