Just entering flowering stage and I’m wondering what to feed them to increase bud formation and size. I feed them FF BUSH DOCTOR CAL-MAG once per week !
3 doses so far !
Is there any other nutrients I need to add to increase yield and bud size ?
This is only my second grow !
I grow for me not to sell !
Helps with post surgery pain and chronic arthritis!
Man, there’s a million different products, so impossible to suggest one. Especially when we don’t know your grow method. Organic, synthetic, soil, etc.

Update : grow is indoors using fox farms ocean blend soil in 5 gal fabric grow bags
Light is Viperspectra V4000 400wstt light plus just added a 100 watt red light and two small rope lights !
One positioned at top of plants and one centered close to center ! They are on a timer ( since I read too much at once is like a sunburn) started with two hours adding 15 mins every other day ! The rope lights are 740 red as is the small square red one ! I attacked it yo the grow light so it will always be the same height as the light ( which I keep @ 14 to 16 inches above the tops !

I like top dressing with dry amendments, and I use happy frog fruit and flower 4-9-3. Takes away the mixing of bottled products that are expensive, and contain water that you pay for. I also use, bone meal, blood meal, worm castings, and kelp. I had a bottle of some stuff called bio thrive bloom that I’ve had for a while, so I’ve been adding a little of that to my water, but probably not necessary. Just using it up. Here’s my current plant on day 31 of flowering.

One each of leftover seed from 3 years ago mix pack! So 1 -gold leaf, 1-Ak-47 and one bubble gum !
First bubble gum ever had 10 seed that never germinated !
Found out the mealy mites were devouring them as soon as they sprouted !
Spent about 6 weeks de-bugging my whole house !
Bad infestation !
Found out it was the black cow I used as a soil mix was where the infestation was!

These alone do not provide the plant the NPK and micro nutrients needed. The soil is providing these needed nutrients and if you’re nearing flower I would say it’s probably depleting and needing nutrients. Do you have the latest run off numbers from the last watering 
I have no clue how to test runoff as I don’t usually soak when I water
2 to 3 solo cups of water in a 5 gal fabric pot. I did top dress with a 1/2 cup of happyfrog cal-mag powder also last week !
What else should I add ?
This is the part of the grow I need the most help on ! Understanding which, and how much, and how often !
Seems confusing and I worry about over doing it and hurting them instead of helping them !
Any help would be appreciated !!!

I would suggest checking out this thread about DLI…daily light integral.
If I read correctly…you aren’t giving your plants enough light…

You use a quantum/par sensor to get your ppfd which can then be converted to DLI.
You can also use the photone app…if it works on your phone.
Jacks 123 or 321…plus Roots organic original soil is great.
Definitely…check out jacks…part A, part B, and Epsom salt. Really all you need.
Bloom boosters… especially if you are just starting out…will cause you issues. I would recommend not using boosters until you’ve got the basics down.

If you plan on staying with FF nutrients pick up the trio, Grow Big, tiger bloom and Big Bloom and use the calmag you have. The trio will contain all the macro and micro nutrients needed start to finish. Word of caution and feed to liberal run off on the those days. Get a starting PPMs and PH of what you have using straight water at 6.5 and water to liberal run off and catch a sample and test the PPMs and PH and write that down. A good range would be 900-1200 PPMs and 6.5 PH. Anything over that TDS is water feed only the next cycle and adjust the PH of the water or nutrient mix up or down depending on the run off test.

Blue and red too
The info from the blue light website says 15 to 30 mins to be start applied at lights out so red and blue lights only set timer for one hour ! Woke this morning curious if a noticeable difference and WOW I bet they grew 3 or 4 inches over night !
I had the red lights for a week was running them on timer. Started at 30 mins adding 15 more every other day until the blue lights arrived !
