@Growit @bob31 @Covertgrower @dbrn32 so i started my 5th Amenesia Haze Auto it was doing great up too 3 nodes n 2 weeks. Ive had it under a doom for humidity took it off this morning and all the leaves have shriveled up and just about too die… What is it w this plant or maybe i got a bad batch of seeds im out of AHA so guess i wont b growing it at all… And w all this trouble y bother idk how others do it w this strain…
What is the difference in humidity between the dome on and off? If the soil has enough moisture in them I would give them a couple of hours. I usually un dome as the second node starts to appear.
Maybe try amnesia haze fems next time?
@bob31 not sure how to measure humidity under my dome as it was a dixie cup w a plastic baggie over the top held on w a rubber band on cup too keep sealed… The humidity n tent is mostly 20% rt now bc of 4 plants that are n flower phase figured id start my new grow since these are almost done… So much for that idea…
Probably between 90% and 95% under dome. Probably wouldn’t hurt to get the humidity up in your tent that’s a huge difference in RH
@bob31 ive read n flower they dont do well n humidity thats y ive let it come down… The root system is very strong on Amnesia Haze should i try putting dome bk on it? will it come bk?
You have the babies with the big kids? Ok yeah that’s gonna be tough. @tlc4235 let me check my humidity charts brb
20% is too low for flowering even. I’d try to get to 40% anyway or close to that
I’m not sure on either? I use a big dome if I need them domed beyond the first node
starter grow dome

@bob31 Thx so much for advice my big girls are n final 2 weeks of flower so i figured id start new one w a dome for humidity then i would harvest my girls and repot other and let it grow all by itself but ummm i dont think thats gonna happen…
its a balancing act really. I would try to keep the little gals going until they can have the whole place to themselves.
I have done the same and ironically with the AHA’s. I had a GL SCROG in the back of the tent, 2 BBA in the front. A GG outside and the two AHA. As soon a s the BB got chopped the AHA took their place.
I dont know that shes gonna make it put a dome bk over it but leaves look pathetic too say the least but ya that was my plan so much for thinking ahead…Haha
@bob31 @Covertgrower @dbrn32 @MattyBear @Myfriendis410 The top I cut off dried almost completely n 2days!!! and it smells like hay have Ive done something wrong?? I pulled it down and put it n a jar but geez the way it smells I def don’t have any desire to smoke it
@tlc4235 like fresh cut grass? Yeah it’s weird sometimes, but the smell goes away after the chlorophyll breaks down over time, and the better smells return.
@Covertgrower yes!! and Thank God im about too cry ive babied these things like you wouldnt believe… im afraid to even touch the rest of my plants bc if this is the result its a total waste…
I was given a sample of home grown yesterday that smelled like that. Drying too fast will invariably do that. You have to slow down the drying time. 7 to 10 days is best.
Edit: I passed on the home grown lol.
@Myfriendis410 i put a moist paper towel n jar as i read too for 4-6 hours and its back like it was before… so ill cont the curing process…
@tlc4235 if it smells like chlorophyll then it needs to dry longer. If you jarred it, my guess is the RH is probably in the 80’s
Try drying in brown paper bags. It’s the only way I dry
@bob31 do u have a link anywhere explaining your drying method? my whole method is messed up now i had a whole sheet of what i was too do and how long but bc my flower dried n 2 days vs 5-9 messed everything and now im baffled as what to do but sure not pulling up my other girls till i know the next step i do w them doesnt happen again!!
Have you trimmed all of the leaves off?
Keep wet paper towels away from your bud, they can and will cause mold.
@tlc4235 Like everything else there are 5 ways to do it and achieve great results
I cut mine down and rough trim them and into paper bags for a week to 10 days. Then I dry trim if needed and jar them up with a small RH Meter (I own three so I can average out the RH as they aren’t all that exact, but all within 1 or 2% of each other)
I burp them 2x daily for a week, leaving the lid off the jars 5-10 minutes. The second week I do it once a day. After that I open them to get them to settle around 60, then I add the bovedas.
If they get up over 64% I burp them again. That generally lets them settle about 62 ish.
Hope that helps?
That’s good advice for all of us haha! Drying and curing is kinda where the rubber meets the road. All of your work comes together then.
I use the paper bag method too. You should definitely try it.
@bob31 yes i have trimmed leaves and i taped paper towel too top of inside the lid not on nugs… I will try this and while im thinking about i have the boveda packs and the hygorometer…What i read on it today was too do this twice every 4 hours then remove paper towel…
