Iv noticed my bottom leaves on this plant turning yellow dry and browning . I am new but I’m using the fox farms dirty dozen and some other stuff from them. I think it might be a potassium deficiency from possible neut lock so i was going to flush with 2 gallons of water Mixed with sludgehammer. Its on week 5 of the schedule and im not going to feed it this week because of the flush and maybe ill do week 5 next week or should i skip it?
Overall am i making a good choice? Should i be doing something different? And whats really wrong with my plant.
Also my plant is in a 7 gallon fabric bag should i use more water or less maybe like regular filtered water after the 2? Maybe a gallon?
It’s normal for the lower leaves to die off as the plant matures. FF trio? What medium are you using, PH and PPMs of input nutrients and run off of those?
Send an over all plant pic
Ok and iv been keeping my ph 6-6.5 and using the trio as well all the other fox farms neuts besides kelp me kelp u and wholly mackerel. Iv been following the chart exactly. So whatever it says there. And useing the ocean forest mixed with happy frog soil. And ill send pics in a second.
I’d cut off feeding and water then just water
I flushed it but the run off water looked dark and tds said 3000 and i feel like thats high right? so i did it again with just water. What should it say after test
it again?
Your talking ph right. If so safe is 5.5/6.5 just under neutral. My water where I live is a high ph to start with so I use ph down. Remember it’s a weed and resilient good soil water and excellent light is my way. A little food now and then Going to try a big bloom for budding is a first for me. I try to be as natural as possible and use tricks like tie downs and sometimes clip for bushy growth. Really look at the leaf guide in ilgm it helpful. Try to find why the one has leaf burn and go with water good light
Your run off of 3000 may be right. The mix of FFHF and FFOF will feed a plant for roughly 6 weeks with PHd water only. 6.0 on your input PH is too low, there’s a big difference between that and 6.5 adding nutrients would be after the medium is depleting in nutrients at around 800 PPMs. Are you testing this? I would water only feed for a few weeks at 6.5 higher if the PH is below that and water her to liberal run off of at least 20% of what you’re putting in. Soil like a wet to dry cycle and a good run off will help rinse some salts away that have collected in the root zone from the FF nutes
Do not feed anymore. FF soil will carry you for 5 weeks. You should only water to 6.5
