Yellowing lower leaves

Hi everyone. I could use some advice on my grow. I have several plants where the lower leaves have started to yellow and die. I’ve done a good bit of reading trying to determine the cause but this is just my second grow so pretty new to this.

Stain is California octane.
FF Happy frog in 7 gallon fabric pots using FF nutrients (been giving every other watering)
Outdoor grow
Plants are about 11 weeks old
It’s been really warm lately (high 80s-90s) with lots of humidity.
PH with my nutes is around 6.5 and my last run off measurement varied between 5.5-5.8

I had been watering 2-3 times a week when I noticed the soil looking dry but have picked it up to every other day with the heat. About 1-1.5 gallons per plant

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to forum
It is normal for some of the lower leaves to yellow and die off.
I would be worried if it starts creeping up the plant.
To me your plants look healthy.

@darkstarcrashes
I think they look good for 11 weeks. As long as it a few older leaves on mid to bottom. New growth looks good.

Welcome to the growmunity. Need to try to bump those runoff numbers up. In soil while in veg, your target is 6.3 to 6.5, in flower ypur ph target is 6.5 to 6.8. A ph below 6 will cause ph lockout if left there too long. Your plants look healthy though. Good job! Ps. If you want to get more accurate numbers, do a soil slurry test

I see two things… she’s hungry. Lower leaves that turn yellow need N… even in flower (just not as much as in veg). The other thing is the brown patches on the first pic… that looks like soil ph problem which could be caused by over-watering (first hand experience here lol). You can do a soil slurry test to see what’s going on at the root level in the soil itself. Bad soil ph can cause many deficiencies and adding nutrients without correct ph won’t do anything but cost you money.

…And welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the input everyone. I’ll do the slurry test today. As far as raising the ph, my tap water is 8.15 so can I just start with that without adjusting it? Or do I need to flush the plant with ph’d water?

Id flush with phd at about 7.5 to try to get a happy 6.5 ph.
