I’m about to make some dry ice Kief and realized I don’t know how much ice to get. I’ll be using appropriately 2.5 lbs of straight flower with no trim. Thanks in advance for any knowledge and experience you send my way.

That would be great. I hadn’t heard a response from anyone so I just arrived back from the store with just under 15lbs of dry ice. Maybe too much but…

I’d say while shaking a couple 4 or 5 chunks like golf balls and maybe a few more bigger chunks and split it into about 4 seperate amounts to shake. Hope u r planning on breaking it all up prior to shaking it so u get all the good stuff from the middle of the buds and u have to make sure it is super super cold doing this freeze the weed and make sure it is all frozen good my friends will ring in as he does it this way lots I’ve done it once and not alot of stuff I was just running an oz of buds to see what it was like with the ice shaking over bubble hash ect

I have never used dry ice, so im no help on this topic. I do qwets and dry sifts.
