What is the best ideal temperature for indoor autoflowering plants to grow at

On the website i got my seeds from it says they grow out doors all year long as long as it is over 10c which is pretty cold and it says it is easy to modirate to grow indoors , it does not say any thing about the max temperature it can grow at, the strain i got is called early miss autoflowering its genetics are original white widow and big bud it supposedly finishes growing in 7 weeks, i found out that white widow grows well in high temperatures i couldnt find out to much about big bud, if big bud and white widow do well in warmer temperatures does that mean that the strain i got will also do well in warmer temperatures ? Since it is a cross between thoes 2 strains,

I will check for you and post it back in 20 minutes probably sooner

Thanks , also the thermometer i am using has a wire should i put the thermometer out side my tent and put just run thermometer wire inside my tent threw the hole i have in the lower buttom back? Because rite now i have the whole thermometer inside my tent

So what I got out of it is the big bud strain does great any where from 72-76 but hydro, it can do pretty well at 80 degrees so if you could get it down some how 7.6 degrees it should do pretty good, MacG may give you some tips, otherwise if you can’t just watch for heat stress, knowing they are both warm weather strains they should get heat stress but you never know, so just keep a close eye on them

I wanna say leave the thermometer in the tent , but on this one id get an opinion from MagG as well

i opened the top 8 inch fan bay i am not using that is above my led light and my temperature went down from 87.9 to 85.5 and i only had it opened for a half hour i hope my temperature drops some more, do you think that was a good idea to open the top 8 inch fan bay or should i close it again ?

How are your plants reacting with it being open

And in my opinion it was a good idea it lets fresh air in for your plants, beacuse if I’m not mistaken even with a fan recirculating the air it still gets stagnant after 36 to 48 hours, again I could be wrong and I apologize if I am

Should i switch my duct fans around and make my 6 inch 240 cfm fan my intake and my 4 inch 100 cfm fan my exhaust ? I feel as if my 6 inch 240 cfm fan is sucking to much air out of my tent it looks like the walls of my tent are caving in from to much air being sucked out,

Yes switch them around

Use your 6 inch 240 cfl to bring the air in the 4 in. To take it out then your walls won’t be sucked out

Well…

It also depends on what you are trying to do actually. Most tents and enclosed grow rooms should be run at a negative pressure, and this means in something ike a tent, the walls may get ā€œsuckedā€ in a little. Running your room or tent at a negative pressure is very important if you need to contain the smell. Assuming you are running all exhaust through a carbon filter and then through the exhaust fan, this will make sure no smell leaks out any small cracks or seams because the negative pressure inside the room means any little cracks or seams will be slowly letting air in, not out.

If running it the other way seems to keep the smell down and the temps down and it works for you, then you can do that way, but the negative pressure way is the way most people do it. My tent is always having the walls suck in a little.

Also, always exhaust hot air out the top of the tent as hot air rises.

lol, I switched the fans around and now my tent looks like it is blown up with air, i got to put the fans back the way i had it, the 6 inch 240 cfm fan is to powerful i wish there was a switch on it to slow it down

Get a speed controller.

I got good news i added 120mm computer fan to my tent as a intake and it fit perfectly in the tents fan bay. so now i got a 4 inch duct fan and a 120mm computer fan as intakes and a 6 inch duct fan as exhaust. My temperature in my tent with both my 300w led and my 24w led light on is 83.9f adding the 120mm computer fan as intake droped my temperature 4f

Nice that’s awesome, how are they reacting with a 3.9 degree difference

Is it true if the temperature in your tent hits 90 f or higher your plants will stop growing or die ? And if it is true and your plants stop growing can you bring your plants back to good health ? And how long can your plants survive at 90 f or higher ?

Ask MacG I couldn’t honestly tell you that one

I’m not an expert, but just finished my first grow in a shed, during mid summer when temps outside were in the high 90’s, inside temps of shed hit 91 a couple of days, I had no air conditioner so had to just open the doors & windows with fans blowing. The problem was also the humidity went up & caused budrot in the end. I’ve read low 70’s is good temperature. Mine were autos Northern Lights.
good luck!
