What did I do wrong or am I stressing over nothing

So I got my Gorilla Glue autos in a few days ago (witch was awesome very fast delivery) but anyways I think I screwed up, I dropped 5 into a glass of ph balanced water of 6.0 let them sit for 24 hrs and seen the root taps popping out so I put them into coco and nothing after 48 hrs. I think the root wasn’t out enough .what do you think the chances of them growing are .
Like I said I might be stressing over nothing but this is my first auto grow and I don’t want to screw them up so I could really use some advice.

Thank you,
HAPPY 4th of July everyone, stay safe

Should be fine just keep them domed. Did you condition the coco first?

I had one take almost 4 days. I would not sweat to much. And that was after 24 hr soak then 24 hr moist paper towel. Still took close to 4 days.

They can… Different strains.

Any changes?

I ordered them from I❤GM last week, I hope not I should say I don’t think so cause I got them from I❤GM

3 of mine sprouted from water into jiffys in about 2 days and 2 others took an extra 2 days . I packed it a little tight that can slow it . I killed one of my first ones last month by drowning it. Just make sure to use water super sparengly . I’ve been watering my sprouts with a tablespoon and there thriving lol. PS I’m no expert just passing along my own learned knowledge.

On average I see plants above ground 2-3 days. 24 hours not enough time for sure to break the surface.

If the coco is packed they might struggle. I use Pro-mix which is similar. I get it damp, then loosen it up with a toothpick before putting in the seed, tap root down. The seed should not be planted very deep. 1/4" or so. Much deeper and they might have a hard time. Too shallow and the root can push the seed right out of the ground.
After 4 days you might gently probe with a toothpick and see if you can find the seed.

I have used the paper towel method and think is ok, but adds more steps and it is far too easy to let it dry out. The only failed seeds I had experienced got killed that way. I soak, plant and cover with a dome for 2-3 days.

So far I am at 100% germination with soak and plant method.

I have three different strains sprouted right now two of the three took 2 days, the other took 5. It is looking the best of them all at this point.
