I think I need a dehu. What ya’ll using?

I have 2 for the basement. The 30 pint per 24 is in the room. I also have a 50 pint unit that can be rolled from its position next to the sump pump. Both have 20 feet of line and a built in pump to remove condensate to the sump holes in the basement.
The 50 pint unit was very expensive especially since it gets used in weeks 4 to 8 only. The 30 handles the house fine on its own. Transpiring tent of flowers drinking 3 gallons every 3 days overloads the little one.

I run a 50 pint digital model from Scamazon, with the drain hose attached and ran through the floor of building, so I never have to empty or worry it will fill up and shut down, setting off humidity alarms.:oncoming_fist: That’s in the 6x8 room, have a 30 pint in tent.

Man, i do not have a cple hundred bucks for a dehu. This might take a min.

I found one on ebay for 50 bucks. Im on the gulf coast. Its always humid here and works pretty well. If you set it up to drain continuously you can get a smaller one.

Check local pawn shops or thrift stores too. Garage sales as well.

I don’t have much experience in the field but I bought a 50 pint vissani at Home Depot. And it lowers by increments of 5% going from 80% to 35%. It really saved me with the humidity in my little 2 x 2 as prior to that a constantly at 82% during veg and early flower

I would also consider the cost of operating. I have a fairly old 70 pint that works extremely well but is equivalent to running a window ac unit in operating cost. I also have a smaller unit pulls about 30% of the power but won’t keep up during most humid months.

All i have to do is watch the sun come up. Instant 20% drop..damn desert

I was expecting to be in the same boat. AZ looking at wet monsoon this year, Im expecting to battle humidity.
