In need of a good dehumidifier

What’s everyone using to keep the humidity down in a 3x3 grow tent? Need Recommendations

I just run the home AC. It removes enough water to do the job.
Anything you run will have to overcome your exhaust system. If you exhaust to outside your grow room your are bringing in untreated air thus undoing any dehumidification your machine has done. If you recirculate in the grow room then you will be adding heat from the machine. Its an issue that is unique to each grow room. How high is your humidity?

Relative humidity can spike to the low 70s. Not hot enough here for the ac yet. Even when it’s hot I have to argue with the boss (wife) to turn it on. I do have plenty of air moving though with the fans in the tent

I just picked up an insignia 50 pt from Best Buy. The cheap $40-$50 small units did nothing to reduce humidity. Only been using for a few days, but so far im completely satisfied.

I bought two, one for each 5x5 tent and I am very happy with them. I use a NIWA controller and this turns on and off with the NIWA because it has a “Power Outage” restart switch. It keeps it settings and does a great job.

I use a frigidaire 50pt for a 2x4 that I keep on the outside of the tent. It does great.
What ever you do,get a big one not a small one, atleast get 50 pint.
I started out with a small one and it would never kick off and it hardly removed what I needed it to remove.

@Dave I completely agree, bigger is better. In my 5x5 the Britsou 50 pint handles it all, plus it has the ability to either collect water in a chamber in the unit or use the included hose that can run to a bucket or other catch system. It takes a while to fill a 5 gallon bucket, but to avoid any stagnatation of the water, I empty every couple of days and it never more than 25% full.
