I found something very similar to this. Fine white hairs, unlike web strands in that it is irregularly wavy, and not elastic.
I have hunted for signs of pests with magnifying glass, with nothing to show. No leaf bites, no dots under leaf. I was mystified by the silky material.
I collected enough to find that it burns like plastic, and I spotted the source. The outer filter on my inline filter is made of these fibers. I added it during early flowering, when the smell started becoming noticeable. It’s possible that I will find more embedded in the buds later, as they grow around the fibers.
And this has me in a state of complete disbelief. It is dismantled my life very fast and not mentally But by this point it’s probably Wearing on me Mentally as well. But this is physical. It is so bad and we had to leave immediately. I went back and tried to absolutely pretend it was in my head and I’ve gone down every other rabbit hole in the world possible To Turn around swallow my pride, and immediately I have to go back within 12 hours because every animal out of me as well as my son Were so sick I puked all day. He had a migraine. I had a kitten Acting neurological and with tremors none of the animals would touch the floor.
