This white cotton like appeared on the best of the buds on my plants. Im trying to figure it out for next year.
I usually grow sunflowers in front of my plants to shade them from hot evening roasting sun. The sun flowers were only 3 ft high & didn’t work this year.
I water in the evening, which is not good.
What is this white sht on the buds? It ruined 20% of my harvest?

Pic is a little blurry but that look likes white powder mildew in my opinion.

I’m gonna go with mold and/or mildew. But as @MadamCalamity stated, it’s kinda blurry. Got a couple other shots?

Yup, mold. Had this problem a couple times when I didn’t burp my jars right.
Now I recall back in the day I read an article in High Times talking about Harrold’s Disease, which proclaimed it would multiply THC… I just could never actually smoke moldy weed.

I have a relative who loves smoking anything moldy. I gave away 5oz, because it had a moldy smell. I forgot to burp for a week no visual mold just a smell.

Throw it away and don’t smoke it or you will probably end up in hospital.
It’s normally caused by too much humidity during flowering and drying.
