Week 6: Each plant is a different size

Howdy, getting my feet wet with my first grow. I honestly need help :frowning:

Quick facts:

  • Week 6 of grow
  • Auto flower / Runtz
  • Have ONLY FED WATER
  • Light: 24hrs a day
  • Humidity: 65-80% (fluctuates)
  • each plant varies in size and how many leaves
  • I’m lost

Please send help!

Hey yo

Medium: Ocean Forrest
Light: Max setting / 24hrs daily
Watering freq: when dry, however I don’t specifically measure how much I’m depositing

I know… I’m probably making glaring mistakes!

The FF in the buckets will feed those plants for at least another 6 weeks possibly more. The PH range for soil is 6.3-6.8, 6.5 is ideal. Those plants look like they need a good drenching, I would water in a circle about 3” away from the main stem. Those roots need more growth and will spread out searching for the moisture. are there holes in the bottom of the buckets for run off and drainage? I would set the light on an 18/6 light schedule and set it with a meter or the phone app PHOTONE :love_you_gesture:

Thanks. :pray:t2: All the pics I see of auto flowers at 6 weeks makes me believe my growth is stunted. Am I right?

A good drenching? How much do you recommend?

Unfortunately they’re small for their age and suspect they’ll start flowering any day now. Auto flowering cannabis need a great start from ground breaking, watering/nutrients, environmental conditions, Lighting PH all need to be dialed in to have a healthy and good yielding plant at harvest. Unlike photo periods that have time to recover from any hiccups autos do not as most start flowering around 35-42 days above ground. Drenching the plant would be enough that some runs out the bottom, let it go through the drought cycle and drench again. Those 5 gallon buckets will take several days to dry out :love_you_gesture:

So much wisdom, thanks. I’ll go ahead and drench!

One last question, I have tiger bloom from FF. Should I start that after the two drenches?

As mentioned I haven’t used and nutrients yet.

You’ll check the available nutrients in the soil around week 6 during the drench
to approximately 20% run off and collect a sample and test PPMs, you’ll need a TDS pen for this and I recommend Blue Lab. You’ll need a PH and TDS pen if you plan on having any success especially using salt based fertilizer. You’ll need the FF Grow big and BIG Bloom as well, those have the nitrogen and micro nutrients needed, there’s a little Nitogen in the Tiger Bloom bur zero micro nutrients. No nutrients needed for at least 6 weeks and start nutrients once the run off gets down around 800 PPMs and keep a feeding routine of 1000 PPMs at a PH of 6.5 Grow Bro :love_you_gesture:

I’ve drenched the plants with 3/4 gallon of PH balanced water each.

Tomorrow I’ll start the 18/6 lighting schedule on my lunch break.

Thanks for the advice :pray:t2:

Day 2 LST - 8 cups of water each - 18/6

Stands for the buckets installed yesterday.

Lots of runoff. Will get a pan.

AC/Dehumidifer arriving today from Amazon.

Hey man. Now each plant is a different color. What do you think I should do?
