So this is a little unrelated but at the same time it is pretty important to the whole grow. Im gonna be in the hospital for a surgery (colon and rectum removed) for around a week sometime in the next month. If i water a 2 gallon pot like soak it completely and if the plants soil is dry for a few days till im back will they be okay? If not i might look into a self watering kit even a simple one. Plants got like 8 weeks of flower left it seems like so far

So sorry to hear of your surgery. Cannabis tolerates dry soil very well. The more mature the plant is, the more it will tolerate. A few days isn’t going to be a problem at all. If it is a week, then I’d get someone to water once.

Best wishes on you surgery. That’s definitely the top priority.
Looking back at your posts it looks like they are in a tent. Also if you can add some humidity to the tent for that period, humidifier, wet rags will work too. You should be just fine for a week.

Thank you very much. Rn im unable to work until its all done itll be a long recovery but at least ill have some weed for when its all done 
so theres that. Plus since im 22 i wont have to ever worry about it again lol

Sounds awsome and yes they are all in a 32 inches by 32 inches by 68 inch vivosun grow tent. Humidity is on average around 60 to 65 also got a fan runnijg 24 7 for air circulation. Thanks for the wishes.

You should check into a self watering drip irrigation system to get you by. Otherwise have someone check on them for you if possible. I’d recommend AutoPots but you need to get autos on them prior to flower. Good luck with recovery

Ill look into either my brother watering them or if hes gonna be busy ill get a self irrigation one. Even a small simple drip one would probably work i was thinking. Thanks for the wishes.

They’re not bad, you can set a timer for how often they water and how long it runs at a time. If you’re growing in soil then should only need a couple waterings in a weeks time

there’s two things you can do there’s the shoe lace watering which I do and it works great I take a gallon on whatever your feeding then run shoe string to all you want to water and knot the end and make sure the knot is at the bottom of your gallon and they will get watered or get a self feeding drip I use my way and it works I was gone for 3 weeks and they still had just enough for 3 more days. Yeah that would work pretty nicely wether i have my brother water them a bit when im gone or a self watering system or this method i appreciate the suggestions and thanks for the kind words

Thanks man, Yeah ill definitely do an update afterwords and on the harvest. Wether i do get it before or after by the time the plants finish up. Ill find out in around 4 weeks when the actual surgery will be another 4 weeks probably to it. so i might even just dry em right before it thatll work if that happens
