Very curious on if I’m giving them enough water, one has bud sights and about 13 inches tall other is about 11 inches tall and a week apart when I planted them. The tallest with more bud sights is 6 weeks today and the other is 5 weeks today. Any idea if my smaller one both need more water? Soil is dry inside however I just watered both about four days ago exactly and watered till run off/soaked both down twice. Should I be watering both more often and more water? I’d say I’ve been doing about a gallon of water if not slightly more. Also any issues or reason for droop with the one or do they both look normal? Thanks

from my vantage point, they appear over watered.
also, i would get rid of those giant fan leaves. the plant is old and healthy enough to do it.
what are your plants in?

you also may have a slight nitrogen excess showing from the dark green leaves

Any idea how often to water them? Because I personally feel like I’m not watering them enough imo. Usually I water them once a week or so when soil is dry. I don’t feel like it’s enough tbh. And they’re in five gallon buckets of happy frog soil. And as far as those fan leaves I can just snip the leaf itself or the stem at the bottom? Just the leaf correct?

it’s really unfortunate that overwatering and underwatering look similar. the reason i say overwatering is because the plant also looks well fed. if you had been perpetually underwatering the plant would be hungry for nutrients and yellowing.
i’ve got one in a 5 gallon bucket right now. a full watering to runoff would last a week with a plant about to flower. as she gets older the root ball gets bigger and she will drink more.
even if you have been underwatering letting your plant dry out another day or two won’t kill it. might give you a better picture of what’s going on
for defol, cut as much of the stem as you can

Snip leaves you remove at base. I just poppem off by pulling down till seperates at base. Autoflower so less is more. Can not reveg. If good airflow at base amd through plants letem stay. They are the solar panels for the buds.

If I take off a bunch on fan leaves it won’t hurt the plant? I’ve heard they need time to recover, all at once won’t hurt them?

just take a couple of the big fan leaves blocking bud sites. not too many at once and you can so this every week or so.

Pinch them off with your fingers right next to where they are attached to the branches. Or you can tuck them under instead

How do u water now. Do u water til runoff then leave it til dry and light or?? Soil requires wet and dry periods so get a feel of the pot filled with dirt dry then soak it and feel it. This way u can go up to it grab it with 1 hand and give a slight lift and u’ll know if it’s dry or still wet to it. Early on every 3. 4 or 5 days watering and days ge5ing less and less between as it grows and drinks more

Leave all the leaves on them if they r autos til about the 3rd week of flower. They will go into root work around that time frame and that’s best to hit them lollipop and defol all one day don’t do it on autos when they r working on the bud site making and growing parts or it will stunt that part of growth. If u watch the plant good enough u’ll see what I mean. When it pops it will pop up then stall like it does nothing at this point it’s building roots for a few days to a week then it takes off and u’ll see growth again then a stall. Each stall builds roots to be able to support and feed all the new growth that will come shortly after whether it buds or leaves

That does make sense because I started to see the buds going crazy then I was wondering why they quit growing for a bit. Now they’re back growing. Thanks for the help!
