Hey guys, i was wondering if you defoliate spare leaves for bigger buds. This is my first time with auto flowers , i usually trim a photo up pretty good but i have had some stunting off my blueberry as is . it is now 2 weeks behind the northern lights and amneisa. They are all perfectly healthy, i just wanted to fine tune some skills. let me know what your thinking thanks very much.

All are ILGM autoflower pack, ph 6.5 coca loco soil with fox farm basic nutes + fox farm bud development nutes. Indoor “1000” watt so maybe 650 each (2) . 3 plants one of each auto flower pack. thanks

Should leave the fan leaves IMO, just do a light pruning if at all. Autos aren’t like regular phot cannabis and need their leaves to produce because they don’t have a long life span.
Just what I’ve noticed on my past 3 grows. My first I did cut fan leaves and it seemed it stunted growth in those I trimmed

I’ve been defoliating my Amnesia Haze auto as needed 4-1/2 weeks into flower and still defoliating. Mainly removing yellow leaves and any leaves blocking buds.

Trim autos up pretty nice and leave the two top fan leaves on. All leaves that point towards the middle remove. Also remove all lower growth and sucker branches.Autos love shave legs and hair cuts.

I always defoliate mine too but try to do it slowly as to not shock them. I prefer almost no leaves by the time they finish, just a few.

This. Take ur time. Start with the big ones blocking bud sites. How far into flower are u? Dont just strip her to be doing something. Be strategic. Those leaves are like solar panels and she needs a few to keep photosynthesizing.

Yeah, I try not to take too much at one time. I’ve defoliated four or five times so far and she’s 71 days from sprout. Mostly yellow/burned or dying leaves and some light blockers.

Hey man thanks for the response , I did some light defoliation today , just what was touching soil , discolored/unhealthy and some airbuds at the base . Cleaned up the center of the plant These are before .

All three pics are separate plants . 1 each of auto flower mix pack. The second picture is my smallest which I think is the amnesia haze. Didn’t need much of anything probably on 3 leaves off. It’s a short plant

Fantastic. Those lowers wont amount to much anyway. I clean those up throughout flower. They look great imo
