So what I got going now is, germinating my flower in napkin, planting it in a 1/4 gal nursery bag of organic seed starter soil, when I get decent roots and decent size I was gonna transplant into 3.9gal autopot and top feed with jacks until I feel it’s ready then crank the reservoir using the jacks schedule. (I have air dome, gold disk, all that)

What’s the medium you are using in the 3.9 gal bags, and hang on autopots work awesome, I myself do not use the airdomes, 1"- 2" of clay pepples on bottom and coco, keep us posted :+1:

So 1/4gal nursery bags a mix of happy frog and ocean Forrest, compost, Mykos, perlite, the 3.9gal autopot it’ll be transferred into will be buffered coco and perlite

I’d just do the whole grow in coco. You aren’t gaining anything by using soil.

But will growing in just coco have enough nutes to get the roots big enough to transplant?

Plants can go a couple of weeks without supplemental nutrients. If already using Jack’s you can top feed full strength until into the Autopots. Works great and is a seamless transition. I too manage my starts with smaller pots (Solo cups) until they go in their final home.

So you put the seedling straight into a solo cup with coco and perlite and just feed it jacks schedule?

Yes: I normally start seeds in a shot glass of distilled water and peroxide. Into a Solo cup of straight coco/perlite once a tail forms. When seedling is the diameter of the Solo cup it is transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pot or the factory 6 gallon plastic pot with air dome and top fed/watered until the Autopot can be turned on. Straight Jack’s full strength.

A whole bunch are melted in.

Agree with @Myfriendis410, i did exactly what he just said, but used 100% coco with hydroton a few inches at the bottom. Youll love those autopots and coco with full strength jacks all the way through :v:

Bentstick what strains have turned out best in your system and were they auto or photo?

I did a Ice and Pink Roxy, Photos both are real good smoke, The Indica Crystal extreme (Ice) will set you on your ass for awhile.

And its Pink Rozy not Rosy or Roxy as spell check keeps changing it
