Very Odd Growth Habit

Curious if anyone has ever seen odd growth like the plant on the right.
Both plants are supposedly from by the same genetics.
GG4 Auto from ILGM
Planted same day, under same light, same conditions, same watering and feed schedules.

The plant on the right started off very slow and small compared to the other and now it’s very leggy and over my head at about 6ft.

There is a rare auto genetic that shows up on occasion.
The plant just keeps growing like that and never finishes.
I would let it go until you harvest the others and if its still looking like that, which I believe it will, then just cut it down too.

Here is another like yours. BTW, I have only seen autoflower plants do this so it must be a ruderalis gene.

The ruderalis is dominant in the one to the right. Ive had one do that and ended up chunking her.

Interesting. Now I wonder how many of those seeds are like that

I cut it back heavily thinking the plant might send better growth to the upper buds. But reading through that other post, I’m wondering if I should chunk it and open up my closet space entirely to that other plant to bulk up instead…
I mean, no sense in wasting valuable space and light right?

Thats what I would do. Use the space for the others.
Might make extract. Have no clue if the resin is any good.

I haven’t the slightest clue how to make extract or anything else. This is only my second grow which I personally use with a dry vaporizer. So I don’t have any fancy equipment for rosin production, etc.
If I had an easy way to make rosin, concentrates, oils, extract, etc I’d love too. I wouldn’t mind being able to add that stuff to some cookies, brownies, etc.

That plant is sticky as H3LL though…

Check out Emily Kyle website. Someone here suggested her and is just an awesome teacher and provider of information on making edibles. I turned my neice on to her page and this is what she produced a week later. She new nothing about any of this before visiting…

Every one of those I see is covered with trichomes. Might actually be a pleasant smoke. I would try it out before tossing it in the bin.

Here is one from a different thread. Look how frosty it was. No buds but lots of resin.

i suppose one could take a plant like that and at least make a bunch of hash out of it.

You can also just add some to your salad or into a smoothie or pizza topping.
It’s a plant and it’s good for you regardless of THC content there’s some great stuff in there and to me it’s like dandelion leaves just has a better smell and both does a body good.
Make brownies and the cooking will decarb what THC is present or can do a butter infusion etc.
Just have to decarb it first to convert THC-a to THC before making the butter.
If you do dispose of it add it back to some old soil and compost it because it has a lot of nutrients that can recycle for another plant.

Thanks for posting this I hadn’t seen this issue before now.
The other one looks phat

Enjoy the day

Yeah, thinking I’m going to go ahead and cut it. I’ll decarb it in my oven and then infuse it into some coconut oil in a slow cooker.

Plus I can move the other plant into the center and spread it open to help it bulk up in its last few weeks.
