I have been growing for a couple years now, I received some autoflower blend seeds for free with a purchase and I threw 1 in with my regular seeds but it came up very late . I was already flowering my regular plants. Instead of throwing it away I just let it grow under 12/12 cycle . To my surprise it grew fine . My regular plants have been harvested 2 weeks ago but my auto isnt done yet. Hairs are finally starting to turn but has been in flowering for ever . I thought it would be done early . Anyway I will be patient but my question is . My other plants turned out perfect , 4 different strains and all acted similar like all my other grows and leaves were frosty for weeks before they were ready. My autoflower hairs are turning brown and if you look close at the flowers can see small trichomes but the leaves have almost none. They are actually almost shiny and smooth with trichomes only on bottom of leaves along the stems . And most top leaves are extra thick or maybe almost dry. They are green but hard to bend and will snap if bent too far almost like they are dry. Is this just the strain or something I did or should have done? I only grew autos a couple times and never happy with them , way too small for the time they take.

Autos will do what want to do. She looks like she’s filling out well. Lots of white pistles still. I think she will be fine when finished. If possible try to get pic of plant in natural light or with lights off and just flash from camara. Difficult to see what she really looks like with grow lights on. Also wanted to Welcome you to ILGM forum.

Yeah, that’s why I don’t grow autos.

I only grow autos as a back up to my photos. Never seem to get a lot from them for some reason
