I am a second time grower I have a 6 foot tall, grow tent. Last time I I grew the plants got too tall and hit the light. I’m wondering if I use a Tent trellis would work to control the height
And where would you suggest suggest height wise to put it? I’m in my third week, and the plants are getting tall. And I’m wondering when’s a good time if I use a trellis when to use it and how high off the plants? Thanks so much for your time in advance MARTHA
Not a tent user, what is a tent trellis? Netting possibly?
Lots of growers do LST, low stress training to control heigth.
We all love good picturess, care to share?
A net with square holes for Scrogging
If you’re growing photos, just flip them sooner because plants will typically double in size in flower. You can use a net to spread them out and support heavy colas, but unless you do some serious LST early you won’t get the results you’re aiming for. Topping and LST early is still the best way to avoid light crowding due to height. IMO of course.
Using 2 nets help support your buds too
A trellis net is more to keep them from falling over. If yours grow into the lights. I would just super crop them down a foot or so. I have to do that all the time. You can see I had to do this one on 3 branches. They grow back towards the light. But slow enough that they have stopped before reaching it again. @Jimster that is how we wish every grow looked like Very nice
