I still see lots of clear. Give it a few more days. You’ll be glad you did.
Looks way too clear to me. I’d say 5-7 days to go for a more balanced and potent effect. Almost there.
Thank u for the help and guidance. I’m definitely gonna hold out a bit longer then.
Be sure you are looking at the trichomes on the bud. The trichomes mature faster on the sugar leaves than on the bud. Looking really nice and frosty ![]()

Do you have pictures of the whole plant and some bud pictures. You want nearly all the white hairs to turn brown and recede then start checking trichomes.
Needs more time ![]()
Id give it a little more time but its in the harvest window.
Thank you bro ![]()
Solid advice from the other members. Harvesting too soon or before at least 85-90% of the trichomes are ripe can give you a paranoid type of buzz and make your heart race. I give them an extra week even when I think they’re ready ![]()
In the words of that Doc guy, 2 weeks! Seriously though, amber does NOT mean degrading or bad, amber just indicates they are plenty ripe and will not give you racy highs, headaches and as Dell said paranoia. You’re in the harvest window, but you will be glad if you give them a bit more time!![]()
At least let all the clear go milky or cloudy.
I would say not degraded, but a metamorphosis into a better balanced high.
That would be a big mistake. Not even close to ready. I see clear trichomes and some that are only slightly cloudy. Harvesting is not an exact science, but this is definitely not mature.

I took everyone’s advice, gave her more time before chopping and I’m glad I did. Here’s an update on the trichomes…
Pretty amazing how much can change in just a few days when the harvest window opens, ain’t it?
Yessir it is! Thank u for helping me navigate that! ![]()
