I haven’t posted in a while since I couldn’t grow in a long time. I’m having issues identifying what going on. I ph to 6.5 and have added 7.5 ml of fox farm big bloom. But now part of one of the leaves feel like paper and fall apart to the touch.
Its just a little nute burn from splash. No worries, she’ll recover!
Welcome back Growmie, put a few overall plant pics. What’s the temps and RH in the grow space? What medium is that and the plants age, Grow Big is need as well through from veg-flower
Glad to be back lol. The soil is Fox Farm Happy Frog. The humidity is at 45% and temp is at 73F. The plant is at 4 weeks from first popping. Im also using a TS 1000 light at 50% light intensity.
Right on and about the time the Happy frog is ready for additional nutrients. Looks a little dry across the top. I would get the RH up to 55-60% and temps around 78-82, water to liberal run off and test the PH and PPMS. This will let you know how much nutrients remain in the soil as well as the PH. Feed at 900-1000 PPPms at 6.5 and always to liberal run off to rinse the salts away from the previous feeding that accumulate in the root zone. Happy roots…happy plant
Thank you, I have a ppm meter arriving shortly here on Tuesday. It should have arrived sooner but it got delayed. Also forgot to mention. Im using a new product, well new to me, called Prime Superior which I’m experimenting with to see if it could take care of my bug problem I had my last grow. I did mist the plant by accident so maybe that would contribute to the rust spots? Anyway I’ll try your method and see whats going on.
Could be especially if this was during lights on. Kept us posted Growmie
Welcome back Growmie.
I like to tag along and see whats up.
Daytime lights on
Get the humidity up to 50%|60%
Get tent temps up lights on 78* / 81*
Nighttime’s temps 65* /72*
Humidity still 50/60
I use a small black humidifier inside tent with an automatic switch that turns it off and on, at preset humidity settings, use distilled water only in it. Outside little ceramic heater to bring temps up , I just let it blow towards bottom tent vent.
And ac in window control room temps tent is usually one or 2 degrees off from room temp.
Update: The spots on the leaves was done by the spray I was using and she has bounced back. I sprayed on them by accident during lights on. I have yet to test the run off but the new growth on her is very healthy, so I must be doing something right lol.
I have splashed some on my little ones also they doo look good. What i discovered is my solo cups I go a month then transplant the issue I had was feeding to soon theoretical i shouldnt have to feed till the last month of growth the soil had enough to maintain longer than I thought lock out isnt fun. Good luck Growmie
Those look frosty! I been adding 1/3 of the nutes from the recommended dosage. She’s and auto as well so I planted directly into the pot.
Update: I messed up pretty bad this time around lol its rather embarrassing. This is my 4 grow so far and I have learned a lot especially about nutrients and spotting the types of deficiencies that occur. I’m wondering if this is savable or if I should give up on this grow.
Still green theres been worse. The plants are pretty hardy. I usually take the yellowing leaves off they are dead or dying, it would freshen her up a little, I know others will tune in also. My mind runs wild on Ideas but not knowing enough I don’t want to lead you down the wrong path. She’s closer to done than starting over, Id let her finish my had lock out and stalled but after a 5-7 gallon flush they became vibrant again also Growmie.
She actually picked up now since I got the nutes balanced out, before she was a mess. I had a nitrogen difficiency that got bad as you can see but I added it and she was no longer flopping over and its been looking like this for 2 weeks.
I have learned you look the other way briefly and they have changed
