Try Combs still milky and running out of time. It's November

Have an outdoor grow in Virginia.It is now early November and my tricomes are milky, but I don’t see any amber. Able to take them inside An unheated garage for the cooler evenings.But just wondering if I should harvest or wait a little bit.

Welcome to the community. If they have been out all summer growing know
mid November.Personally I would harvest. Good luck :v:

I agree with Kelly. If cloudy and 90% hairs brown and receded you are in head stoned zone. Also some strains just refuse to amber. Welcome to the forum.

So should I cut the Fan leaves off when I first hang them or wait for them to dry out and then trim them off?

Yes , take the big fan leafs on the wet trim and finish up with a dry trim. Shoot for a slow drying period 7 to 10 days if possible.

@Tommyj WELCOME…
You know judging Trichomes and just growing in general is subjective…Theres so many variables and its not a one size fits all…The first so many years I too got milky Trichs and Amber came…Now these were different strains in the years,But this year I had two different Photos that seemed to not want to amber up…I waited and waited …The Blueberry Muffin did first but now Im thinking a few weeks prior at just milky I should have pulled them…They smelled stronger then when I waited…Same for my Romulan It actually felt stickier and smelled more 2 weeks while waiting for Amber Trichs…Your buds look good to harvest now…Id pull them…
congrats on your grow…

Thanks @Storm …You hit the nail on the head…Im a believer now…I think thats true these took forever like I said above…and I do remember reading about plants (Trichomes) being “over-ripe” .Im going to remember that for next season…Thanks!
