I’m new to this. my first 2 plants are about 15 inch now. the stem has several nice leaves. where the leaves growing from the stem i noticed a new , leave like looking growing. do I leave it or trim it?

NO Don’t trim anything unless it’s for air flow thru the plant. What I see you could take off the bottom leaves but that’s it.

Get a flexible plant tie.
Those zip ties will cut into your stem.

Plants look great and would only trim to improve airflow and light penetration and this plant has both
