I have a question for you all. I’m well aware of the different colors that trichomes produce with age. Something I don’t understand- do the amount of trichomes have any effect on THC potency? Some strains seem prone to producing larger amounts of trichomes than others, but don’t necessarily have the same potency.

I have produced plants of lower thc value than some other people but with more and bigger trichs and it ended up being the better of the bunch. The thc is inside the trichs. Sometimes alot more of a little less is better than a little bit of something stronger

More is more. But the high has a lot to do with the terpines the plant produces and the amount of cbd (brings you down) and cbn (amber trichomes/couchlock) in that particular strain. Im not a terpine expert by any means and couldnt really tell you much more than i have but they have everything to do with way our brains recieve it and how it effects us
