Transplanting from pong cups

So how do you transplant from a solo cup ? As in do you just cut the bottom out or take it completely out of the cup and try not to mess the plant up.

Squeeze the cup gentle between your palms, place a split finger hand at the stem and dirt, invert and work out :+1:t2:
Best done on the dry side.
Cut cup from top to bottom and remove.
Either way :+1:t2::green_heart::metal:t2:
I messed up and watered last night then realized I should transplanted first, oops :person_shrugging:t2:

I pre-size/shape the receiving hole. Then dust the hole with Mychor powder or something for root enhancement. If i rememered to pre-split solos, its easier to transplant. Often, I water the solo cups, supporting the seedling soil cup topside with the “Vulcan” "Live long and Prosper (finger-hand split-spread),
Turn upside-down and inertia negative, flip and aim for receiving hole.

It is a girl scout. I cut the cup down one side as it was dry and it was a breeze to transplant.

Easy Peazy.

Cups are cut down both sides and placed into red cups for light blocking and holding soil cup together.
Easy root viewing capability.

Just water the plant a day or two before, then gently turn the cup upside down and tap the sides to loosen the soil. You can cut the bottom of the cup or slowly pull the plant out, being careful not to damage the roots. Inspect and loosen the roots, then plant it in a new pot with fresh soil, keeping the soil level the same. Water well and settle the soil. That’s it!

Sometimes, I am not gentle.

Sometimes you want to bury the stem so not always keep it level.
But most times it just fine :green_heart::metal:t2:

Just up potted this Gold Leaf about an hour ago. From a small nursery pot(soloish size) and I buried her stem at least 2".
Bigger Roots, Bigger Fruits a Wise Man once told me :cowboy_hat_face::sunglasses:

I was thinking of burying the stem some as its a little stringy.
