Transplanted....grow tent, new soil and are they flowering?

My first post gave me some very helpful tips. Thank you all.
@Drinkslinger @Hungrybud @monkman @Hogmaster @elheffe702

My grow tent and filter arrived yesterday and I set it up. Went out and bought bigger tubs, a ph meter, coco coir and perlite, and a bit of blood and bone. I mixed up a soil of maybe 70% coco and 30% perlite and a sprinkle of blood and bone. No advice just what I have read.
I have transplanted them into the new mix and bigger tubs (I didn’t disturb the roots or soil around them too much) I did notice the potting soil was pretty wet so must have watered too much!

Anyway I don’t know if I have upset them but realised that the light was on timer of 12/12 and I think makes them start to flower?? so I went to 18/6 in hope they will get more leaves and grow bigger. They started to wilt at the top, which was sad as they were looking very dark green and standing up nicely.

I took a few pics this morning and noticed they looked like they were getting really think at the top of the plant…wondering if they may be flowering, if so can you tell if male or female??

I have read a lot about shock and changing sexes until I got that confused I decided to go to sleep…still dreaming about massive buds lol.

So what I know up to date.

Strain: Mango or Mango Kush.
Age: 7 weeks approx.
Planted as seed in veggie patch until week old (getting eaten by strawberry slugs)
Week two: Transplanted into small tubs and put in spare room under globe 12/12 hrs
Week six: Placed under LED grow light for 12/12 hrs.
Week seven: Transplanted to bigger pots and put in grow tent.

PS: Before transplanting PH was 7 and this morning it is down to 5.5 approx

Hungry? for what maybe? I have been giving them a diluted mix of charlie carp but was suggested I just use water for a bit.

Coco is missing everything found in soil. You are going to have to provide for your plants. You would be well advised to start with a good nutrient line and stick with the published grow schedule until you get a grow or two behind you. Seriously. Don’t add any more blood or bone meal.

I have used several different nutrient lines in coco and like the General Hydroponics best for ease of use and great quality at a decent price. The Flora series will deliver everything you need.

PH for coco is 5.5 to 5.8 although I like 5.9 to 6.0 for both coco and peat.

I will tag you into my grow to show you what your plants should look like at certain stages of growth, when the seeding stage is interrupted it takes away the momentum from your growth as the first roots struggle more to establish themselves. What size are your globes and LED?

These were not a planned grow and I had nothing to help them. They were put in veggie patch, eaten by bugs, transplanted to small pots and left in a spare room under a normal globe for 4-5 weeks. I decided to but the correct equipment and see if I could save them.
I would like to grow now for own supply and to get better. I love it so far

I will link some of the fellow growers in for a wide opinion, @Myfriendis410 @garrigan62 @MattyBear @dbrn32 @blackthumbbetty thanks guys and gals

The different mediums, transplanting, topping and being eaten are all going to contribute to stunted plants. Let them settle in their new digs and make sure you ph your coco between 5.7-6.1 :v::bear:

I think you have solid suggestions here. And 6" seems pretty close for light too.

Thank you. I was thinking that they have been under a heap of stress - poor things.
Should I keep them at 18/6 if they are starting to flower or go back to 12/12 light? They are so tiny and I have read that mango have long buds so unsure they can support them being small.

Keep them in veg for a couple more weeks and let them get their feet under them. Also, put your light around 18-22” above your plants too :v::bear:

Coolio. That’s real life. Things don’t go like we want them all the time but we make adjustments, do what we gotta do. Look forward to seeing how it goes.

I meant to upload these before when I asked if they were flowering.
The last two days I have looked closely and there looks to be smaller, thinner white leaves. Could they be the white hairs spoken of when flowering??
