57 days since Bruce banner auto was planted using Autopots. The plant has grown so tall it is touching the led light (Vivosun 4000) and the light is as high as it can go. Top of the plant is starting to turn brown so is it ok to trim the top of the plant shorter? It is definitely in flower and is quite healthy. Thank you all for any assistance
@Mountonwall do you have a pic?
Tie her down do not cut her … try some lst training on her
Photo would help
Thats awful tall for a auto, you sure its not a photo?
How tall is it? A pic Would be nice.
Holly cats! I ask again u sure its an auto?
@Covertgrower is my go to help person covert will have a good idea how to help. She has legs for days!
Hope y’all got those photos……I’m not too good with the computer stuff. Again thanks for responding so fast.
What ever you feeding that plant, must be good!! If thats an auto jeesh one hell of a phenotype.
Cant u carefully bend them over and tie them off some how
Is she done your BB auto, and if so how much did she yield?
That pic was taken yesterday. I’m kinda excited to see what this one brings
How many weeks in flower?
Yep, definitely can tie her down so she doesn’t get too out of control. She should give a good stretch, and I would switch to 12/12 light schedule to encourage flowering sooner if possible.
14 days or a little more in Flower? I’ve super cropped a few at this stage but judging how thin legged she is I agree with @Covertgrower. Judging from the pics the branches look nice and pliable ![]()
Thank everyone for chiming in I appreciate all your responses. There are 4 plants in this tent, all are from ILGM seeds. They are Gorilla Glue (2), Bruce Banner (1), and Girl Scout Cookies Extreme (1). The G.G. Plants had one seed that sprouted but died within a couple days, same thing happed to the G.S.C.E. so I replanted both. General Hydro trio is what they’re being fed along with mammoth p, recharge, and then pH’ed to 6.3. I mix everything in a 3 gal bucket of R.O.water and pour it all in the reservoir which holds approximately 12gal. I’ve got a pump in the reservoir that is probably more than necessary but really gets the water churning and it runs about 30 min every 2 hr. I’d tie Mr. Banner down but in doing so I’m afraid the other plants will get covered up. I thought topping Banner would stop it’s growth upward and it could concentrate on growing more buds below. By the way I don’t transplant my sprouts everything is planted in the spring pots from day one. Yes I have the clay rocks, air domes and a little coco, peralite, ocean forest and worm castings in every pot. Three oscillating pole fan, 1 tower fan, and 1 oscillating fan on the floor. Plants are VERY thirsty and will consume about 8 gal every 2 days.Anyway back to topping the Banner, am I correct or will it just damage the plant? I’m thinking I’ll just leave it alone and see what happens. I apologize for writing a book, I just wanted to give everyone the facts. Thanks again.
