This is the first time I have grown an auto all my plants have been photos in the past. So not sure if I should treat it the same or not. This dosido auto feminized a little over a week into flower and it looks like it’s pretty much going to fill up the tent. Some coals are taller than other colas which is bound to happen but I would like the middle to catch up if that’s a possible thing to do with autos. Here are a couple of pictures so you can see what I am talking about.
Should I put the scrognet up and start bending over the taller colas? @AfgVet@Growdoc@Myfriendis410@Dman1969 and all you Auto growers out there.
Thanks for the advice in advance! Happy Growing friends!
I normally grow photo-period plants with the occasional auto. My limited experience has been mixed but usually the SCROG doesn’t serve much purpose other than support for the colas, when it comes to autos.
My autos have not vegged long enough for the SCROG to work that way it does for photo-period plants.
LST has been the key for me with autos. I LST everything.
I grow mostly photos but on autos, I don’t train as much because a hiccup will cost you with autos. Some top and train them like photos, I guess it’s what you are comfy with…
I would agree with the majority and StonedCold nailed it, trellis would serve you well with an auto but you wouldn’t likely have the time to fill a scrog as she decides when she want to flower.
